Perfect Night

This is my beautiful daughter, Emily.

This is Emily's idea of a PERFECT night.

Rowdy and Jake had basketball practice tonight (Jake had practice-Rowdy was the taxi).

Emily took her shower, got into her comfy pajamas,

and curled up in MY bed with her favorite blanket and her e-book.

Most girls Emily's age have a phone or cell phone glued to their ear...or attached to their hand(for texting)...

for my Emily... it is her e-book.

It's not a bad thing. It is a great thing!!!

She makes me smile!

(Eddie and Simon agreed with Emily's theory- curling up (on the couch) makes for a perfect evening.
