This is our blog. A journal for us to share our daily lives with the people that we love and who love us. Enjoy the silly, sappy and usually unpredictable tales that make us say.....It's a Schmoll world.

I'm still here.... how about you?

Well,  I guess all my promises to myself to keep up with my blog up to date were.... broken promises.

What can I say. Life is busy. Life is crazy, and yet it is also kind of routine.  Not quite sure why I can't or haven't found the time to sit down and blog.

ANYWAY.  It is January and life is moving along as usual.

Emily and Jake are both doing great in school. BOTH kids have straight A's and have GPA's of 4.0 or better.

Emily is still loving playing Saxophone and band.  She even got Jake to give marching band a try. She encouraged (coerced him to join band for the parade season).  The kids participated in the St. Louis Thanksgiving Day Parade.  They had a great time.... freezing cold, but great.

Second semester is upon us. Jack is trying his hand at metal shop (he did great in wood shop last semester), and Emily is continuing her passion of music in Jazz band.  They both have heavy course loads but will continue to make me proud.

Rowdy is working hard as usual and I am still loving and hating my job every day.  I love the kids but hate the stupidity I witness every day ( parents and teachers alike).

Everything is routine and yet so busy.  I will try once again to keep up with my blog.  I won't promise because that has gotten me NOWHERE.

Here are just some fun random photos from the months I have missed posting.

Hope to visit soon.

Just a typical day at Granny's

Granny-  She is one of a kind.
Hanging out at Granny's is not "typical"

This was our Saturday afternoon at Granny's house.  (Emily had so much homework on the second day of school, she chose to stay home and work .  She was still working on AP Psych when we got home 5 hours later).

All I can say is....  I wouldn't mess with this 5 foot pistol packing grandmother.

Where did the time go?

Can't believe it, I don't want to believe it.  Where has the time gone?

Emily enters school this year as a JUNIOR and Jake will be a FRESHMAN !

I don't know when they grew up.  I swear, I missed it.

If anyone knows how to turn back time.... please share. I would love to put them back in Kindergarten and 2nd grade.  Is that too much to ask?

UGH. Both at the high school.  They are not babies any more.
